I have a sofa now. It is green, modern in design…and awesome. I love it.

I get internet on Monday which means I’ll actually blog on a regular basis.

I am preparing to take LEED which is JUNE 30. Please pray for me. I’ll need it. The test cost $400 and my employer is covering the cost but if I fail, I have to pay for the test until I pass. Yikes.

I love my job. I’m pooped out at night since I am also running and training for a 5K, but I love it all the same. Today I got my first design assignment which is for a house involved in a parade of homes that will be a national event because it is one of the first LEED developments in Texas. I nearly peed my pants. I got so excited about this that I made my stomach hurt. This is also due on JUNE 30 so I’m gonna be slammed this month.

No longer lonely since I’m busy. But I still miss my friends. I really really miss them. No one to be sarcastic, to tease me, to make music with, or with whom to watch girly movies and eat too much ice cream. No one to get uncontrollably giggly with when it is inappropriate.

Tomorrow night I have a social for new members at church. June 22 I am helping organize the Young Adults social. June 29 I will jump in as a leader for KidsInc (our church’s “childrens service”). I really hope to grow deeper in Christ and help others do the same by making some wonderful Christian relationships through these activities.  

God is good. I am constantly amazed.
