I did it. I graduated and now I have the most expensive piece of paper I will ever own sitting on my desk. It was a great ceremony. Architecture and Agriculture colleges graduated together…about 1200 of us is what my dad said. Landscape Architecture was one of the last departments to go so to make sure everyone was awake we made the ceremony amazingly loud. First when they called the last Ag graduate and said, “Now, the college of Architecture” we did a wave. My dad said it looked pretty awesome from the stands. Then when it was Landscape’s turn we yelled as we stood in line for each person walking (there are 21 of us and we are super close) then we formed a tunnel starting with the first two until the last of us walked under and we whooped really loud. It was awesome. I hope someone got a picture. I said farewell to some of my best buds from college and then ate dinner with my parents, sister, and her fiance. It was great. And now I’m an adult….in theory.
Peace and Blessings.
