Three days until take off. I have never been out of the states. I am not quite sure what to expect but I am antsy with excitement and emotionally ready to go.

I’m not packed, I have lost my driver’s license, found out my camcorder doesn’t work with my mac, and that according to apple my mac is obsolete (they no longer make their software compatible with my computer model with is less than three years old). All of this is a testament to my slightly ditzy brain and honestly I have some worries about how I will not loose stuff or break stuff in Europe.

I am ready for the exciting new culture, the food, the clothing, and most of all the friends that I will be with for four months. I also can’t wait to see how this trip changes me and how I will handle not having a church to visit every Sunday. Luckily, one of the other girls from Landscape Architecture that I am good friends with is going to help me get a bible study and prayer group together so that we can have some fellowship and worship during the week. Please pray that God will work in our group and help us be a light that is not hidden but shining through the Santa Chiara Center and in the town.
